Hi Morgan and Gustopher,
I am very interested in talking to you about being part of the Evergreen Arts & Humanities Series of Washington State Community College in Marietta, OH, in February, 2015. The series is a reputable and established forum that serves southeastern Ohio and western West Virginia. Could you please get in touch with me asap to see if we could work out a gig for you as a part of next year’s programming?
Hi! Gus and Morgan. My 5 yr. old son ,Josh and I heard Cakenstein on sattelite radio one day while I was taking Josh to school. Now its our favorite song! We sing it all the time. Mom has even gotten in on the act!
My 3 year old all hasn’t stopped listening to and singing rock melon and cakenstein (and other songs) since your were here in Irving, tx earlier this year. We hope you come back someday. He and all his siblings loved the show!
I have three children 4,3 and 10 months. When I figure out how to send you video, I will. When my eldest was born, we found “punching cheese” via Pandora. I loved the song and my enthusiasm caught on from the very earliest of times with our first daughter. She got used to dancing to Punching Cheese, ballroom style – if you must know – from newborn on…When my son was born 15 months later..he fell right in with the Gustafer cheering section and we’d all celebrate when “the cheese song” came on. My husband and I came across a DVD (which we did’t know existed) one day and were delighted to bring it home to the kids – who were sad that the cheese song wasn’t on it…but have come to love the Infinity Sock DVD all the same. We recently…finally…bought the first album/DVD set and when I tell you that we listen to it constantly in the car I am not embellishing. All three – even the 10 month old chimes in on the chorus – kids sing a very heartfelt Pinecone Lovely, Bluebird tree, and Dream in Green.
The art and songs are amazing.
My 4 year old daughter has about 300 drawings of Gustafer and we are so delighted to engage in the world you created.
My son sleeps with a felt Gustafer I made, which subsequently caused my daughter to champion slim…hence the felt slim she sleeps with.
Whatever you dreamed up makes a whole lot of sense to our brood.
Please feel the love from afar.
Great show in Portland, Maine today!!! Gus loves his new Slim stuffie and put him in a nice warm sock. Thank you. See you next year!
The pre-kinder class at Toro Park School loved your performance today. It was terrific seeing them all so engaged and enthralled. The cartoons, story line, and great music with a captivating beat kept their attention and enthusiasm for the full 45 minutes – no small feat.
Our Transitional Kindergarten, Kindergarten, and 1st grade classes loved your performance at the Woodside Elementary School Library! We hope to see you every year! Thank you so much for coming to visit us again!!!!
We haven’t seen you play in a little while and we miss you(s). My daughter and I have loved seeing you at the Falcon and other venues around the hudson valley. Gustafer’s story is as brilliant and imaginative as it is fun and wildly appropriate for all ages. We hope you are having a good Foof!
Hi! My son LOVES Gustafer and we have seen you live 3 times. My son, 4 years old, just asked to go to the Gustafer concert. Hope you will be playing Northern Virginia soon. He also wants to know why Gustafer is being electrocuted in the Wisdom Tooth song. Thanks for the great music and videos and playing so many shows!
Thanks for the comment! Gustafer is being “struck” by the realization that the wisdom he thought he was getting from
the magic tooth was actually within him all along. The lightning is a metaphor for epiphany.
Hope to make to your area soon. Check our shows page for listings. Keep it yellow!
Dark Pie Concerns is another worthy entry in the Gustafer Yellowgold chronicles and the Cakenstein boneless action figure is quite awesome!
Thanks for the personalized birthday card for my great niece, Kamryn (turning 4 in October), who is (arguably) your biggest fan here in The First State since she was an infant.
Hopefully, your traveling show will be making a stop here in good ol’ Wilmington, DE once again so we can bring my great nephew, Luke (2.5 years old), to his first (soft) rock concert.
Rest assured we’re doing all we can to spread the ‘yellowness’ far and wide here in our neck of the woods. GUS *rocks*!
P.S. Here’s a link to a video of my son Andrew and his girlfriend Melissa playing an impromptu guitar and violin duet of Slim Gets In Em for my great nephew, Luke (and the rest of us), this past labor day…
So proud of you! Have to admit I had not heard the album as my kids are 17 and 19 but my sister just had a baby so I listen to it entirely and Love it!!! Amazing!! Congrats!

Hey, I just watched two videos on YouTube and was immediately reminded of Harry Nilsson’s film ‘The Point’. Keep up the good work.
Hey Morgan! Hopefully you can remember me. I made a video a long time ago of me drawing Gustafer and when I went to your concert about a month or less later we recognized eachother! I hope you still remember me because I still watch Gus as much as before!
You take the Grammy, hands-down, in our house. So glad you were nominated! Hope more people will get to hear your amazing music and experience the wonderful world of Gustafer because of this cap-feather to your creativity and talent.
We can’t make it to the show in Seattle today! So disappointed! Will you be touring this summer?
We love Gustafer and are so disappointed to miss the Seattle concert today. Will you be making other appearances this year? After the concert in Portland? East Coast? West?
Hey Morgan and Gus! It’s me, Noah. I just wanted to know is you would hae a concert sometime near Dayton. Thanks!
Probably around Thanksgiving! Thanks for writing.
Love you Gustafer!!!!!!!
